Reflections on Nature and Humanity
The Climate Crisis looms large in my mind. Many others do not share this concern and the push to ignore our planet’s future continues unabated. The voiced support for Black Lives Matter and change of presidents gave me hope. It was short lived. Authoritarian, anti-democratic politics, and white supremacy are rising in America. What’s a humanist to do? I will reflect on the state of my mind and the state of the world through poetry and prose, music, and attention to the ideas of others.
