It's  time for our 3rd Service at Home Challenge! This month we will be focusing on Gratitude.  Gratitude helps us focus on what is good in our lives.  Gratitude is taking a moment to appreciate things we may take for granted.

The Maryland and Virginia Governors both just held press conferences stating that restrictions on social gatherings will be tightening again.  This means that we will continue to rely on deliveries to meet our day to day needs.  And since we are entering the Holiday season, many of us will be doing our holiday shopping exclusively online.  Last month we were challenged to show some kindness to first responders like healthcare workers and law enforcement. This month, let's show some gratitude to all the folks that deliver goods to our door so that we can remain safe at home.

You can do something simple like write them a thank you note or draw them a picture.  You could also set out a baskets of water bottles and chips (pictured above).  Or you could get more creative and set out treats with funny pun.

Here are some sample ideas:

Bag of popcorn - I am POPPING with gratitude!

Chocolate Crunch Bar - You've helped us in a CRUNCH!

Starbursts - You are a STAR!

Bag of Sunchips - You bring SUNSHINE to our lives with your deliveries!

Bottle of Mountain Dew - We love what you DEW!
