Leader Bob Berson is a graduate of the Sunday School of the Riverdale-Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture and of the Ethical Culture Schools (Fieldston), where he was also a teacher in the Ethics Department. He graduated from Haverford College and has earned graduate degrees at Harvard University (history), Bank Street College of Education (guidance and counseling), Teachers College (higher education), and City University of New York (clinical psychology). A licensed psychologist, he maintains a private practice in Manhattan.
