ARCHIVIST Definition

This is intended as a guide for NoVES committees, teams, and task forces. In most cases it refers to skills and responsibilities of the committee as a whole, not of individuals.

 Skills needed: Organizational skills.
Solid knowledge of alphabet.
Dry basement.
 Responsibilities: Maintains organizational files, including minutes of Board meetings, Sunday School Committee meetings, and other committee meetings (to the extent that these are provided).
Keeps copies of contracts with leaders, Green Hedges.
Keeps copies of newsletters, Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, and other documents.
Research and locate historical documents.
 Member Term: Two years.
 Measurement of Success: Able to locate and provide information as requested.
