This is intended as a guide for NoVES committees, teams, and task forces. In most cases it refers to skills and responsibilities of the committee as a whole, not of individuals.
| Skills needed: | Has computer, calendar, and organizational skills. Has interpersonal skills. Is interested in Ethical Culture and Adult Education. |
| Responsibilities: | Stay in touch with the educational needs and desires of NoVES members. Brainstorm new courses and recruit teachers. Promote sign up for new courses through e-mails, the Sunday bulletin, and the newsletter. Help coordinate adult ed classes. Work with Green Hedges liaison regarding space and schedule. Arrange other spaces when necessary, such as Vienna Community Center. Coordinate rescheduling due to weather or illness of teacher. Stay in contact with teachers and gathers data on attendance. Give an annual report to the AEU regarding NoVES Adult Ed. Meet approximately three times per year – once in fall, once in winter and once in spring or summer. Assure that every two years at least there is offered at least one class on Ethical Culture philosophy and history and at least one class on interpersonal skills. |

| Measurement of Success: | Number of classes and students in classes. Evaluations filled out by students which are sent to chair and then shared with the teachers. |
