Visit on Sunday
A Colloquy is a more reflective time (some would call it "spiritual") than the regular Sunday platform meeting, and consists of structured reflections about a particular issue that is usually something of a personal nature.
Colloquy uses a relaxed setting, contemplative music, and various readings to create an atmosphere that encourages participants to discuss their thoughts and feelings about the selected issue. Participants enjoy listening to a variety of opinions for an hour...when we put away our cares to share time with each other. When colloquy ends, we often hear the following type of remark. “I arrived stressed. Now, I am feeling relaxed. What a great way to start the day.”
Colloquy is usually held the second and fourth Sunday of each month at 9:30 -10:30 am in one of the Green Hedges classrooms. Colloquy also meets during the summer when the Society is not meeting formally.
You can contact the Society for more information, or ask at a Sunday meeting.
